LEARNING OUTCOMES IN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICITY UNDER KOSEN MODEL
After completing the program, learners are able to:
1. PERSONAL ETHICS
– Understand basic rights and obligations of citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and implement responsibilities and obligations of citizens.
– Have responsibility; good sense of organization and labor disciplines; industrial working style; and respect regulations of agencies and enterprises.
– Demonstrate positive academic learning to constantly improve capacity and professional ethics to meet job requirements.
2. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
– Understand basic knowledge in the field of social sciences and humanities majors which are suitable for training major.
– Have basic knowledge of mathematics, natural sciences to acquire knowledge of professional education and learning ability at a higher level.
– Have English language proficiency: TOEIC 350
– Have IT Skills: IC3
– Have Japanese language proficiency: N4
3. PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE
– Present characteristics and uses of electrically conductive materials, insulating materials, semiconductor materials and magnetic materials;
– Comprehend and analyze technical drawings in electricity in civil construction works and in working machine;
– Describe formation of electronic instruments, electrical machines, electronic components and other common electrical equipments with high technique requirements;
– Present operating principles of electronic instruments, electrical machinery, electrical equipment and other common electronic components;
– Present knowledge of pneumatic – electric pneumatic in automation system;
– Present knowledge of control contact techniques, PLC programming techniques, undersized programming thematic, micro-processor techniques;
– Present knowledge of automatic control, inverters and servo actuators
– Present knowledge of power supply systems, transmission, distribution and consumption of power systems, lightning protection systems;
– Calculate loss of low voltage networks and choose devices for industrial enterprises;
– Design civil and industrial lighting system and power supply systems for workshops;
4. PRACTICAL SKILLS
– Be fluency in using different kinds of power equipment, electricians’ kits.
– Repair, maintain and wrap household electrical appliances such as rice cookers, electric irons, and electric fans, etc.
– Repair, maintain and wrap 3-phase and 1 -phase induction motors, small capacity transformers.
– Implement, construct and maintain civil and industrial lighting systems with design drawings.
– Present correctly and repair common damages in basic automatic control systems.
– Check and assess quality of instruments and electrical equipment before being put into use and operatation.
– Assess and analyze some common defects, setup, repair and restore process for electrical devices and other devices requiring high technology.
– Install electronic instruments, repair and maintain control cabinets in machines and simple production lines.
– Operate, repair and maintain AC single-phase, three-phase generators.
– Program controllers of PLC programming controls, pneumatic – pneumatic power.
– Install and repair to ensure technical requirements in electrical circuits in some common industrial machines.
5. CREATIVITY, PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY
– Have an overview of essential functions of system, estimate suitability of technology.
– Provide solutions in designing, manufacturing in line with actual conditions of enterprises.
– Consider data, make implementation plans.
– Develop hypotheses to simplify complex issues.
– Explain the importance of problems.
– Evaluate and make summarized recommendations.
